| Kapciamiestis |
Jews once lived in the shtetl and gmina (rural district) of Kopciowo in Suwalki gubernia now known as Kapciamiestis, Lithuania. This was a small community and many of its residents were related by marriage. They lived here from the late 18th century until 1941. No Jews live in Kapciamiestis today but their descendents can be found throughout the world. Please join us in our effort to collect and make available as much information as we can. |

| Liverpool Jewish Genealogy Service |
Gateway to Liverpool Jewish Genealogy. LJGS' goal is to research, collate, digitize and transcribe onto computer file, as many items as possible pertaining to Liverpool Jewish genealogical interest. We specifically concentrate on selected items from the Liverpool Jewish Archives held at the Public Records Office and Local History Department. However, we will consider transcribing any item that we feel will be of use to genealogists researching Jewish genealogy especially if it is in relation to Liverpool Jewry. |
