The Israel Government Coins & Medals Corporation was established in 1962 by David Ben-Gurion.
Its main objectives are to commemorate the history, culture and traditions of Israel through coins and medals and to encourage interest in Israeli art.
The Corporation seeks to achieve these goals through the sale of coins and medals,
gifts and Judaica, unique items of jewelry, and art works by leading Israeli artists.
