Taglit-Birthright screening out Messianic Jews

Trip organizers for Birthright have begun screening American candidates interested in free trips to Israel to prevent Messianic Jews from participating.

A questionnaire of a Birthright (Taglit) trip organizer that was obtained by The Jerusalem Post includes a question regarding applicants' religious faith.

Under a category entitled "eligibility rules," applicants are asked to declare that they are Jewish.

The Real Messiah - Spanish Translation

With tremendous dedication of time and effort, Juan Mayorga, a Spanish Speaking volunteer from Ecuador has provides us with this Spanish Translation of Aryeh Kaplan's The Real Messiah.

Rabbi Avrahom Bartfeld, former Chief Rabbi of Mexico, and the Rav of Bais Dov Yosef Congregation in Toronto as well as Mrs. Deborah Cohen, also of Toronto, both reviewed the translation fully and independently to help edit the final manuscript.

Messianic Jews promote Ethiopian aliya

Under Operation Tikva, through which thousands of people in Ethiopia are provided with clean water, money for food and educational services, they are also reminded often that they are Jews and that the people of Israel are waiting for them. Operation Tikva  is that neither the Israeli government, the Jewish Agency for Israel, nor any other recognized aliya organization is involved in it. In fact, The Jerusalem Post has learned it is a program run by Messianic Jewish missionaries, and very few people in Israel even know about it.
