This group is for Jewish men and women considering weight loss surgery, about to get weight loss surgery, recovering from weight loss surgery, or several years out from weight loss surgery.
We have had RNY, Lap Band, VBG, BPB DS and are happy to share our experiences and offer our support.


Feel free to shmooze in Yiddish, discuss Yom Tovim, talk about your kinderlach, talk about the Land of Israel, share kosher recipes, converse about shabbos & shul, talk about your besheret, or discuss anything else in the Jewish world. Do not worry about being judged here.

No one will judge you for being Orthodox, Convervative, Reform, or non-practicing. We are all part of the nation of Israel, and we have only ahavas Yisroel (love of Israel/Jewish people) toward our fellow Jew.

Furthermore, this group is open to non-Jews who are considering conversion to Judaism. Please understand that this is the only group, out of several hundred WLS groups, where Jewish people do not feel judged. This group is not open to messianic Jews.
