Welcome!
The ASCJ provides a professional training and education leading to Rabbincal Ordination, Cantorial Investiture, Certification in Jewish Education & Administration, and Certification in Synagogue Management & Administration.
Since our Seminary doors opened to students in 2004, we have prided ourselves as being different from the options previously available to those seeking to start or advance their professional and volunteer careers in the Jewish community, either as a first or second career.
The ASCJ differentiates itself by:
- Providing a non-denominational, yet traditional and comprehensive curricula.
- Incorporating a “hands-on” approach into coursework. We place a priority on getting our students “up on their feet” and interacting with the community as soon as possible, while still students at ASCJ and often in their first year.
- Offering flexibility for students to tailor their course of study to fit their needs, goals, and schedules.
- Making affordable education possible for traditional, “non-traditional” and working students to realize their goals and potential.
- Having a Distance Learning Program to serve those unable to study at the campus due to distance or disability.
- Being housed in an active Synagogue to provide unmatched student learning and leadership opportunities.
Join us as we move forward in our vision to prepare Jewish leadership to meet the needs of the Jewish Community in the 21st Century.
