(Organizatia
Tinerilor Evrei din
Romania - The Organization of the Young Jews of Romania).
The Timisoara branch was the first one to be active and
functional (1999) and it represents the interests of the Jewish youth from
Timisoara and the surrounding area. We promote good relations with other ethnic
minorities and religions and with the local community in general in the
beautiful city of Timisoara, Romania.
This website is dedicated to the person who has helped
us the most, and who will forever be in our memory and hearts -

- A website for the former members of the Timisoara Jewish Community. Including
information on their current whereabouts and their projects. Also there - the
plan to clean the Jewish cemetery of Timisoara and save other monuments located
in Timisoara.

Tu B'Shvat
- The Jewish new year for the trees was celebrated in our community. We
celebrate nature and aim to protect it!

2007, Roma, Italy. The biggest ever Romanian group took part in a week long

event.

July : For almost 10 days, the
girls
from Israel's national U18 basketball team participated in The
European Championship, organized in Timisoara.

and Yale Strom performed in the Iosefin Synagogue of Timisoara.
