The Sequence of Events
          in the Old Testament

   For  the past two thousand years people have been  studying  and analyzing  the Old Testament in many languages. During this time, "the Book of all books" has introduced us to the new and interesting  facts
and  points  of  view about our existence, which has allowed us to reassess and understand  this  sacred text.
But  the  Old  Testament  still contains undiscovered information,  which  has  not been completely deciphered.  Latest technologies have developed new opportunities for the exploration of this text and have significantly expanded our  knowledge.   And even in the light  of new opportunities the results achieved by the author,
changing the traditional Old Testament to graphical form are amazing.
  With the help of easy to read graphs, put together using the basis of information found in the Old Testament
and its traditional interpretation, a particular world is introduced, which is close to us and at the same time
distant, understood by us but still remains a complete wonder.
  Elizer Schulman was born  in Besarabi  in 1923.  He was raised in a traditional - nationalistic family, while
studying in a Jewish grammar school in Tarutino. In spite of everything, at the age of 16 he was preparing to
leave to Israel as an illegal alia "af-al-pi" ("contrary to all"), but the beginning of the Second World War
caused a change of plans and instead of Israel the youngster was  extradited to Siberia.   To both of his
daughters, who were born in Siberia, he would teach Hebrew,  Torah studies,  Jewish history and Zionism.
Living in harsh circumstances as an exile he would sketch for them years and dates  of  Torah  events  in
the  form of  informative  tables,  diagrams  and graphical illustrations.   During  this learning  process  he
realized  that  this  path  could  find explanations of important phenomena, shedding light on the beginning of
human kind the origins of the Jewish heritage.   Elizer  Schulman  assisted  in  the  development of excellent
and important  transcripts  so  that  everyone  can  correctly  understand  the beginning of our spiritual
inheritance.
  "The Sequence of Events in the Old Testament"  was published unedited in Hebrew, English, Spanish,
French and Russian.
A English version of the electronic publication has been released on CD and is completely consistent with
the book (Publishing House of Ministry of  Defence, Tel - Aviv, 1987).
