OTHER GREAT OPPORTUNITIES…

Help fill the food barrel at Hillel!

There are large numbers of Jews in San Diego who are close to or below the poverty line – something we don’t always think of. Hillel is collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Jewish Family Services food pantry. PLEASE, leave your items in the barrel located at Hillel this Shabbat (or anytime!!!)

GOLDBERG INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
In order to link our Hillel campus community to the larger Jewish community, we are offering an internship program. The Goldberg Internship program offers students an opportunity to work in the Jewish community and expose them to a variety of Jewish organizations such as Jewish Family Services, Birthright Foundation, Jewish Community Foundation, Young Judea, Anti Defamation League, Jewish Community Center and more.

Spend 10 hours a week for 7 months (October/November – April/May) and earn $1500.
