Volunteer Appreciate Shabbat

Friday, June 7 at 5:00pm

Join us as we celebrate the many ways in which volunteerism enriches life at Beth Ahm and in the community. Arrive at 5:00pm to make cards and write messages for soldiers in Israel. Kabbalat Shabbat services will begin at 6:00pm and will include reflections from Carol Kent about her volunteer experiences in Israel. A special oneg (light meal) will be hosted in celebration of the congregation's volunteers following Kabbalat Shabbat services. Everyone is invited. Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat is generously sponsored by the Amy Harvey Volunteer Appreciation Fund. If you will be staying for the oneg, click here to register by June 3.

Slow Roll with the Men's Club

May 22, May 29 and June 5 at 6:00pm

Everyone is invited for a casual and fun bike ride on the West Bloomfield Trail. This 1-hour ride is hosted by the Beth Ahm Men’s Club and will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Arrive 15 minutes early to get ready. Helmets are required. We’ll meet at Belle Tire (1919 Haggerty Road in Commerce Township). Jewish Art and Artists at the DIA

Everyone is invited to join the Beth Ahm Sisterhood and Barbara Cohn from JHSM for a guided tour at the DIA. Jewish Historical Society of Michigan Jewish Connections of the DIA Tour highlights Jewish art and artists. Meet at Beth Ahm at 9:30am to carpool to the DIA. Click here to register by May 30. Tot Shabbat: Friday Night with Dinner

Friday, May 31 at 5:30pm

Singing, stories, and Shabbat. Families with kids ages 5 and under are invited to join Anna Gartman and Rabbi Rubenstein for a Friday night edition of Tot Shabbat. A casual and family-oriented dinner follows. $36 per household. Click here to register for dinner by May 22. Unfortunately, late registrations cannot be accepted. Ritual Life at Beth Ahm
